Photographic Work Hosted at Meadery

The 1634 Meadery will be hosting the artwork of David "Stoney" Stone the weekend of August 21-23.  His photos and artwork will be hanging around the tasting room and production area for viewers to see, all while sipping mead!

Stoney's art consists of many sea and coastal themes, including marsh and beach views, docks and boats.  His creative genius shows in his retouched photos, as several look like paintings.  He has both large and small prints available for sale and viewing.   You can tour the production area, see his works, and then get educated on how mead is made!

The meadery plans to host several of these types of events each year, with this being the first.  We like to support our local artists by giving them space to display their wares.  And of course, this helps us as well!  Mead is available to purchase and taste by the glass or flight.

If you are a local northshore artist, and would like to potentially use our space for a display opportunity, come on down to the meadery and let us know!
